ZHEN LI
M.A. in Social Studies Education
Teachers College, Columbia University
Zhen Li is a high school history teacher in New York City. Before entering the field of education, she has studied history for seven years. She brings both deep disciplinary expertise and a global, comparative lens to the teaching of U.S. and world history. She is especially passionate about using New York City as a living classroom—whether through museum visits, walking tours, or community interviews—to help students see U.S. history and World history as something that lives in their city, neighborhoods, and even family stories.
