Who we are

YouZai (佑崽) is an education-driven platform founded by alumni of Teachers College, Columbia University, bringing together a diverse team of educators, researchers, and practitioners across early childhood education, psychology, language development, special education, and gifted education.

We believe that every child deserves to be understood, supported, and empowered. Through research-based insights and real-world practices, we aim to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and everyday parenting and teaching.

Our Mission

At YouZai (佑崽), our mission is to support children’s holistic development by making research-based educational knowledge accessible, practical, and meaningful for families and educators around the world. We bridge the gap between academic theory and real-life application, empowering adults with the tools, understanding, and confidence to nurture each child’s growth. Through content, programs, and community engagement, we aim to foster curiosity, resilience, and a deep sense of belonging in every child.

Our Name

“佑崽 YouZai” means supporting children. In Chinese, “佑 (You)” represents guidance, care, and protection, while “崽 (Zai)” refers to children. Together, the name reflects our belief that every child deserves to grow with understanding, encouragement, and support. At YouZai, this meaning shapes everything we do—from the knowledge we share to the experiences we create.
