Haimo holds a master's from NYU in education leadership and a double bachelor's in education and urban planning — yes, he really likes school. Since October 2024, he's been working in academic affairs at a university in Hangzhou — and he jokes that the emergency drills are every bit as frequent as when he assisted a Brooklyn principal. He's also taught A-level students in Nanchang, supported rural classrooms online, and survived student council meetings. When he's not buried in spreadsheets or course schedules, you'll find Haimo messing around with GIS maps, taking travel photos, or belting out karaoke off-key. His education philosophy? A little warmth, a little humor, and a whole lot of coffee.
